Šeštadieni, spalio 14d., 7:30 val vakare, įvyks JURGOS Šeduikytės koncertas ir naujo albumo pristatymas.

JURGA pradėjo savo solo karjerą 2005 metais.   Jos pirmo albumo Aukso Pieva pagrindinis produseris buvo Andrius Mamontovas.   O 2017 metais jau pasirodė Jurgos dešimtas albumas Not Perfect.     JURGA yra beveik visų savo dainų tekstų ir muzikos autorė.   Jos kūryba yra pastebimai gili, melodinga ir jautri.  Jos įsimintinų dainų saraše yra Aukso Pieva, Prie Žalio Vandens, Giliai Vandeny, Nebijok, Instrukcija, 5th season, Smėlio Žmonės, Seniai Toli, Sapnas, Angelai ir daugelis kitų.

JURGA Šeduikytė will be in concert at the LMHA (Lithuanian Music Hall) on Saturday, October 14 at 7:30 PM.   LMHA is located at 2715 East Allegheny Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. 19134.   Tickets are $ 25 in advance and $ 32 at the door and can be purchase online at EVENTBRITE using the link listed at bottom of page.

JURGA Šeduikytė is arguably the most original and creative popular music singer – songwriter from Lithuania.    Her live concert in Philadelphia will cap a US tour which also includes Atlanta, Tampa/St.Petersburg, Los Angeles, Chicago, Cleveland.   Her creative work has been characterized as deep, melodious and sensitive.

She was born in the Zemaitija part of Lithuania into a musical family.   Her father was an organist and her mother a choir director.    Jurga says that she gained her musical sense from long Sundays spent in church listening to choir rehearsals and performances.

Jurga has received various musical and other awards.    She was recognized as Performer of the Year (2006 & 2008) in Lithuania and Singer of the Year in 2009.      In 2007 she won the MTV Europe award as best performer.    In 2012 she was recognized for the Best Musical Video.    In 2015, she was nominated for best actress award during the Lithuanian cinema spring and KINFO festivals.     In 2017, she was awarded the silver statue for Best Composer of the Year for her work in the film “Kaukai” together with co-authors D.Zujev and E.Sirvydyte.
